4 Days: Ol Kinyei Adventure Camping –Masai Mara!
This short camping safari has been designed to offer a high quality wildlife safari experience whilst enjoying the thrill of 'real camping' in the world famous Masai Mara.
Accommodation is in small 2-man dome tents in camps, with bush bathrooms. The camps are pitched Ol Kinyei conservancy. All game drives are conducted in 4x4 vehicles.
Visit the world famous Masai Mara with game drives in the conservancy and Mara Reserve and its wide range of animals.
The Ol Kinyei Conservancy also belongs to the local Masai Community who have made it a sanctuary for wildlife with no human settlements or cattle present. This pristine wilderness offers open savannah plains, riverine forest, springs, streams and rivers. The wildebeest migration from Loita plains passes through the reserve into the Mara reserve. Many animal species are present including lions, leopards, buffalo and elephant.
A safari guide, experienced safari cook and camp staff are on hand to do all the work associated with camping including, washing up, heating water for showers and preparing and serving daily meals.
Accommodation is in 2-man dome tents (10ft x 10ft, 6ft high). Each tent has its own flush toilet and safari shower located behind the tent. Guests sleep on high density mattresses. Sleeping bags and towels are provided.
All game drives are conducted in open-sided 4x4 vehicles with a maximum of six passengers. The driver/guide has a wealth of wildlife knowledge and you will experience day and night game drives, in the exclusive wildlife conservancies. Other activities include escorted nature walks with Masai guides, Masai village visit and the opportunity to visit the Masai Mara National Reserve.

Fly from Wilson airport, Nairobi by light aircraft to Siana or Ol Seki airstrip. Met on arrival and transferred to Ol Kinyei adventure camp in the Ol Kinyei Conservancy. After lunch relax for a while, before venturing out on an afternoon game drive in the conservancy.
Return to camp for dinner and overnight.

An early game drive in the conservancy before returning to the camp for a late breakfast. Enjoy an escorted nature walk before lunch. In the afternoon another game drive with a night game drive en route back to the camp with the chance of seeing a variety of animals including some nocturnal.

After an early breakfast enjoy a full day of game viewing in the Mara Reserve, with a picnic lunch. Late afternoon return to the camp for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, enjoy a final short early morning game drive in the conservancy en route to the airstrip for your flight to Nairobi. Proceed with your onward travel arrangement.

This is 'Adventure Camping' with accommodation in small 2-man dome tents and is basic camping without all the facilities of the tented lodges or luxury permanent camps. High density mattresses are provided inside the dome tent as well as sleeping bags and towels. All meals are prepared by the camp cook. Mineral water is provided in camp and on game drives but guests need to buy their own drinks at a supermarket en route to each camp. The big attraction is being in small campsites in exclusive wildlife conservancies with activity-packed itineraries and excellent guides and with game drives in open-sided 4x4 safari vehicles. Children under 10 are not permitted on this safari.
